Six years ago, we fell head over heels for St. Croix, and leaving was the last thing on our minds. We were so enchanted by this captivating island that we knew we had to make it a bigger part of our lives. That's why we decided to invest in a vacation home, spending all our holidays and summers here, dreaming of eventually making it our permanent residence by 2026.

However, life had other plans for us, especially with the unexpected challenges of the pandemic. But sometimes, the universe pushes us in the right direction, and moving in time for our kids to start school in 2020 turned out to be the best decision we ever made.

Before our St. Croix adventure, we spent twenty-six wonderful years managing Misty Mountain Camp Resort, a cherished camping spot nestled near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Virginia. But when the opportunity to call St. Croix home came knocking, we didn't hesitate to sell our business and embrace this new chapter in our lives.

Nowadays, you'll find us sailing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean on our Lagoon 450 sailing catamaran, soaking up the sun while hiking, lounging on the beach, exploring every corner of this beautiful island, and indulging in the incredible cuisine it has to offer.
